22nd March 2008 Central Australia has the potential to become a mining mecca within five years according to the director of the Northern Territory Geological Survey, Ian Scrimgeour. Speaking at the Annual Geoscience Exploration Seminar (AGES) in Alice Springs this week, he said Thor Mining's Molyhil project was one of at least four mines due to begin production in Central Australia within the next five years. |
